Hurricanes and Blessing
I was just wondering. A few years ago, we had a lot of hurricanes that ravaged the Gulf Coast and many preachers and prophets told us it was a sign of God's judgment. Can we now take the fact that we have not had a single storm, not even a tropical disturbance, as a sign of God's approval?

Yeah, that can get pretty ridiculous at times. Sure, the natural disaster could be God's judgment, but how in the world do THEY know that? God has made it clear in the past that certain events were His judgment. But that hasn't been His habit of late. And the absence of natural disaster could be a sign of blessing, but that's unlikely since we've not really become more blessing-worthy in the past months/years. I guess we just have to humbly live in this natural disaster ridden world without, uh, knowing everything God is doing. Some people don't like that apparently.
