Some of us in our studies are needing to wrestle with philosophy. I don't feel like we have plumbed the depths of the philosophical issues, however. Take a look at this contest between German and Greek philosophy. It certainly deepened my understanding of the ontology of football. Enjoy!

thanks for this, mark. i don't like monty python, generally. i'm not sophisticated enough for it. however, almost a decade ago, a friend of mine played this skit for me and i've watched it about a million times since then. it's one of the most clever of its kind and it cracks me up every time. maybe during our next meeting we can deconstruct it. i'll put rick and jon in charge of that since they've both read vanhoozer in the last 6 months.
